Fish Tales charters is based in the beautiful city of Cape Town. Whether you are looking for that monster yellowfin tuna, want the excitement of a yellowtail taking your surface plug, want to experience traditional snoek handline fishing, whale watch or view Cape Town, Robben Island or Seal Island from the sea. We supply all gear needed for the day, a deckhand to assist with the day?s activities & owner & operator, Justin van der Walt will ensure that you experience the best fishing Cape Town has to offer while ensuring your safety onboard.

We operate from the following ports: St Helana bay, Saldanha bay, Yzerfontein, Table Bay, Houtbay, Millers point (Simonstown), Gordons bay, Gansbaai & Struisbaai. Fish Tales is not bound by one port, WE GO WHERE THE FISH ARE!

Species that can be targeted in the seas adjacent to the Western Cape: Yellowfin tuna, Longfin tuna, Big eye tuna, Bluefin tuna, Dorado, Yellowtail, Cape Snoek, Cape Salmon (geelbek), Bonito, Skipjack, Marlin, Red Steenbras (copper), Red roman, Red stumpnose (miss lucy), Cape hottentot, Silver fish, Kabbeljou (kob), Elf, Mackerel and many more.
