Orange River Lodge

Orange River Guest and Game Farm is a hidden secret in the Upper Karoo close to the Orange River that blends together mythologies of ancient Scotland and Ireland with old mystical Africa in times when dinosaurs roamed its vast plains. The farm is only 20 km from the Gariep dam airport which has a 4 direction tarred landing strip. Personally managed by owner Lynn, who has lived most her life in the Karoo. The lodge has been renovated in fine style and the colonial architecture blends in perfectly with its tranquil Karoo surroundings. The rooms are luxury converted horse stables and the restaurant is situated in the old farm house which was built in 1890.
