The ?next generation? solar vacuum tube consists of a single layer 2.2mm glass with a highly specialised blue coated copper absorber plate. The highly efficient boro-silicone glass is incredibly tough and can withstand extreme conditions and has successfully performed in Europe at -50? c. These specialised high absorber plates will absorb the light energy from the sun and this energy is converted into heat and absorbed by the central copper pipe which is filled with liquid component which has a very high thermal property. The thermal properties of the vacuum tube is unique as the tube is not influenced by external temperatures, so therefore whether it is overcast, sunshine or raining they still perform! Peace of mind is guaranteed by looking out for the ISOLL? logo imbedded on the absorber plate.
